Password protection

Password protection adds a password prompt before visitors can view a gallery.

Password protection can be used with private, unlisted, and public galleries.

Configure a password

1. Open the gallery and click Share
2. Open the password protection and expiry settings
3. Enable password protection
4. Enter the password
5. Save the access settings

Visitors see a password prompt when they open the gallery link. They do not need a Folio account.

Password changes apply immediately when saved. Publishing the gallery is not required for password protection changes.

Change or remove a password

Update or clear the password from the password protection and expiry settings.

Changes apply immediately when saved.

Notes

• Use a different password for each gallery when access should be separated
• Combine a password with an expiry date for time-limited access
• If a password is no longer available, set a new one
